Terms and rights

This is a free beta. These terms are a plain summary and will be reviewed by a lawyer before paid plans open.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over.

Your rights in what you make

You have full rights to use what you make here, including for commercial use, as far as the law allows. We make no claim to it. The law on who owns AI made work is still unsettled in the UK and elsewhere, so we do not promise that you own copyright in it.

The characters

Our characters come from books that are in the public domain in both the UK and the US. We draw them from the books only. Film, TV and stage versions may still be protected, so we do not copy them, and you must not ask us to.

What we will not make

We may refuse or remove anything that breaks these rules.

Limits and privacy

If you send us feedback and give your email, we use it only to reply to you. Free use is one picture a day. To enforce this we keep a one way scrambled code made from your internet address and the date, for a short time. We do not keep your pictures on our servers once they are sent to you.

Name

Classic Mash is a working name and has not been cleared as a trade mark.
